The star of this comic title actually has three identities: Jethro Dumont, who left his rich New York Lifestyle to study in Tibet; the Buddhist priest Pali; and the mystical figure of the night, THE GREEN LAMA, who uses his superhuman abilities to fight against evil throughout the world. Part science and part mysticism, THE GREEN LAMA also joined the Allied battle during World War Two, aiding the cause of justice and freedom. THE GREEN LAMA began as a pulp hero, and graduated to comics during the Golden Age. GREEN LAMA remains a popular hero today, and in this 8-issue series is backed-up by Rick Masters, Lieutenant Hercules, Pop Flys, The Boy Champions, and Angus Mac Erc! These are the complete issues from this series; if you want just the GREEN LAMA stories without other features, you want either Gwandanaland Comics #1281 (Prize Comics stories) or Gwandanaland Comics #639 (both these GREEN LAMA stories and Prize Comics stories) QUALITY NOTE: We are missing four pages from the middle of Issue #2.
